Nostopalvelu J. Helaakoski Oy has acquired the crane operations and crane fleet of Lahti-based Tonttila Nosto ja Kuljetus Oy. As part of the transaction, Tonttila’s crane operators and lifting equipment will be integrated into Helaakoski’s operations.
The acquisition represents an important step in Helaakoski’s growth strategy and further strengthens the company’s position in the Finnish lifting services market. By expanding its fleet and workforce, Helaakoski will enhance its operational capacity and ability to serve customers with a broader range of lifting solutions.
The addition of experienced operators and modern crane equipment will improve service availability, increase capacity, and provide customers with access to an even more extensive service network. Existing customer projects and services will continue without interruption.
With this acquisition, Nostopalvelu J. Helaakoski Oy becomes the only locally based crane service provider operating throughout the Päijät-Häme region. The transaction reinforces the company’s commitment to investing in local expertise, high-quality service, and long-term regional development.
