Cranes of under 100 t capacity
The fleet of Lifting Service J. Helaakoski Oy has a couple of dozens of mobile cranes with the capacity ranging between 50 to 95 tons. The preferred brand is Liebherr, but we such trademarks as Terex, Krupp, and Grove are represented as well.
Multipurpose Mobile Cranes
This size class is highly multifunctional. In addition to swift unloading operations, they can also handle challenging installation work. In particular, the long 58 metre hydraulic boom of the Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1 mobile crane, of which there are altogether three in the fleet of J. Helaakoski Oy, provides a number of different advantages and possibilities for performing lifting operations in even the most extraordinary work site conditions. The same can be said about our two LTM 1070-4.1 mobile cranes the 50-metre hydraulic boom of which provides clear benefits in challenging lifting situations.
Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1 and Liebherr LTM 1090-4.1 mobile cranes, which also represent our vehicles of this class, are equipped with a hydraulically folding lattice extension i.e. a luffing jib and double winches. Our 50-ton Krupp mobile crane also features a luffing jib.
Small Mobile Cranes
In this size class Lifting Service J. Helaakoski Oy can offer two alternatives. The brands and models are LTM 1040-2.1 and Kobelco RK 250. The number of mobile cranes of this size class has generally dropped in our fleet because ever more often the nature of lifting operations requires mobile cranes to provide higher lifting capacity. However, in certain situations there is still need for smaller mobile cranes.
Mobile Crane for Construction Sites of Single-Family Homes
Mobile cranes with the lifting capacity of 40–30 tons are a often seen on construction sites of single-family homes and detached houses. The pallet forks installed on the machines are used to efficiently move and lift cinder-block pallets. Moreover, machines of this size class are used to lift e.g. roof trusses and stacks of sheet metal, to unload rebar loads, and to install hollow core slabs. Often the machines of this size are suited for assembling entire pre-fabricated building packages.
